“YOU SHALL BE CALLED PRIESTS OF THE LORD, MINISTERS OF OUR GOD. YOU SHALL BE FED WITH THE TREASURES OF THE NATIONS AND SHALL GLORY IN THEIR RICHES. INSTEAD OF SHAME AND DISHONOR, YOU SHALL HAVE A DOUBLE PORTION OF PROSPERITY AND EVERLASTING JOY!” Isa. 61:6-9 TLB

Yes, Orlando, Florida — the capital of entertainment — Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Holy Land Experience, Busch Gardens, Kennedy Space Center, and much more! The chamber of commerce estimates that 52 million visitors a year pass through the area, and to my amazement Channel 52 is carried on most all of the hotels, motels, etc., besides, of course “must carry” to all the cable systems serving the 3.2 million local residents of the greater Orlando area! Praise the Lord. Yes, Orlando is yours and ours to use for the glory of God and to extend TBN to millions more with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ!

For our 33 years of battles and suffering — some (believe it or not) with Christian brothers, some with greedy worldly men, and some with governmental agencies — our God is giving us one of the greatest victories! Here is the word of the Lord to us this day—

“FOR I, THE LORD, LOVE JUSTICE; I HATE ROBBERY AND WRONG”!

We have paid out millions of dollars through the years in “settlements” to our enemies just to keep our precious TV licenses (read my book, ‘Hello World’)! But God’s promise goes on —

“I WILL FAITHFULLY REWARD MY PEOPLE FOR THEIR SUFFERING AND MAKE AN EVERLASTING COVENANT WITH THEM. THEIR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE KNOWN AND HONORED AMONG THE NATIONS; AND SHALL REALIZE THAT THEY ARE A PEOPLE GOD HAS BLESSED”! Isa. 61:8

Of course, we realize that these great promises relate to the nation of Israel, but who is spiritual Israel today? We are! Read it with me and rejoice!

“AND NOW THAT WE ARE CHRIST’S WE ARE THE TRUE DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM, AND ALL OF GOD’S PROMISES TO HIM BELONG TO US!” Gal. 3:29 TLB

Ah, dear Partners, join me — let’s praise Him together; let us lift holy hands in worship, adoration and exaltation! God is “honoring us among the nations” for His glory alone! I can feel His Holy presence now, even as I write this letter to you. And just to leave no doubt about His love and blessings to us and TBN, He adds the following:

“NOW WE ARE NO LONGER SLAVES, BUT GOD’S OWN SONS, AND SINCE WE ARE HIS SONS, EVERYTHING HE HAS BELONGS TO US, FOR THAT IS THE WAY GOD PLANNED!” Gal. 4:7 TLB

WOW! So what does God have or own? Dear Father God — please let that truth settle in upon us all! How about the whole world? “The world is mine, and the fullness thereof” (Psa. 50:12).

How about heaven, with streets of pure gold, a river of life, a tree that bears 12 manner of fruit all the time? How about a new Jerusalem with 12 foundations of precious jewels? How about the apostle Paul’s description?

“EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD… THE THINGS THAT GOD HATH PREPARED FOR THEM THAT LOVE HIM”! (1 Cor. 2:9)
HEY — do you remember our former Scripture?

“EVERYTHING HE [GOD] HAS BELONGS TO US”!!! If that doesn’t get you shouting happy, you are dead and need to get saved! Glory be to the MOST HIGH GOD!

But, remember the KEY that we have been studying for some time. We have just rejoiced over God’s part of His great blessings. Now let’s remember our part, which is the key to receiving them.

Only fruit bearers are eligible to receive ALL THAT GOD POSSESSES (Gal. 4:7). Remember the fig tree that Jesus cursed because it had no fruit? You say that was not fair since it was not the season for figs. Ah, but the tree is a type of us Christians and we are to be fruitful at all times. Hear Paul’s word to Timothy —

“PREACH THE WORD; BE INSTANT IN SEASON, [AND] OUT OF SEASON.”

And remember we have been reviewing Jesus’ own words about fruit bearing —

“EVERY BRANCH IN ME THAT BEARETH NOT FRUIT, HE TAKETH AWAY….” John 15:2

Jesus goes on to say in much stronger terms —

“HE THAT ABIDETH IN ME…BRINGETH FORTH MUCH FRUIT….” John 15:5

This is, of course, the will of the Father, but here is the chilling final word which we all must take to heart and beware of —

“IF A MAN ABIDE NOT IN ME, HE IS CAST FORTH AS A BRANCH, AND IS WITHERED; AND MEN GATHER THEM, AND CAST THEM INTO THE FIRE, AND THEY ARE BURNED.” John 15:6

WOW! God is serious about us Christians BEARING FRUIT! If we are truly born again, we are expected — NO, WE ARE REQUIRED — to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God!

As I have taught often, we Believers love to quote verse 7 — oh, how we love it:

“IF YE ABIDE IN ME, AND MY WORDS ABIDE IN YOU, YE SHALL ASK WHAT YE WILL, AND IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO YOU.” John 15:7

But, hold on! Read the whole passage of John 15 and you will see that the promises are only for FRUIT BEARERS! Verse 16 makes it even more emphatic:

“I HAVE CHOSEN YOU, AND ORDAINED YOU, THAT YE SHOULD GO AND BRING FORTH FRUIT…[SO THAT] WHATSOEVER YE SHALL ASK OF THE FATHER IN MY NAME, HE MAY GIVE IT YOU!” John 15:16

Could it be any clearer? The big question is: “ARE YOU — WE – BEARING FRUIT? And what is this “FRUIT” that God commands? Simply the souls of men, women, boys and girls — in a word, humanity!

Well, I know one thing — TBN is bearing abundant fruit! Salvation slips, emails, Internet, satellite, even plain old postal mail, pour into us daily! And those of you who support, now over 7,500 stations and affiliates, are also bearing precious fruit! Praise the Lord! We are bearing worldwide fruit and our fruit is remaining—we know because they tell us so by asking for the salvation packet, Bibles, and other Gospel literature that they may grow in their new faith!
